Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Branch, including the web application, mobile apps, and related APIs (the “Service”). By creating an account or using Branch, you agree to these terms.

The Service

Branch provides time tracking, expense logging, invoicing, estimates, reporting, and related workspace tools for businesses. Features available to you depend on your workspace plan, permissions, and configuration.

Accounts and workspaces

You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure. Workspace administrators are responsible for people they invite, the data entered in the workspace, and configuring access appropriately. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed according to the pricing and seat rules shown at signup or in workspace billing settings. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise. Failed payments may result in limited access until the balance is resolved. You can cancel according to the options in billing settings; access typically continues through the end of the paid period.

Your data

You retain ownership of the customer, project, time, expense, invoice, and other business content you submit to Branch (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Data as needed to operate the Service, including backups, support, and integrations you enable. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other customers, upload unlawful or harmful content, or use Branch to send spam or abusive communications. We may investigate suspected abuse and suspend or terminate access when necessary to protect the Service or other users.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Branch reliable, but the Service is provided “as is” and may experience downtime, maintenance, or feature changes. We may update or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practical.

Termination

You may stop using Branch at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for unpaid balances, violation of these terms, or risk to the Service. Upon termination, your right to use Branch ends. We may retain Customer Data for a limited period as described in the Privacy Policy or as required by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Branch and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for amounts exceeding the fees you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Branch after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
